Rated 5 out of 5 by from Next Best Thing to a Fireplace This might be my favorite Woodwick. I actually ordered the large hourglass, but could only publish a review on the smaller size. My loft doesn't have a fireplace. This gives me the same smoky wood scent with a touch of sweetness and really cozies up the place on a cold Wisconsin evening. I love it and highly recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Subtle but good smell, crooked wick At first I didn't think this candle had a smell, but I catch it in little whiffs. Those whiffs that I do get are lovely --burning wood with a hint of sweet to it. I do wish the scent was stronger. Perhaps it would be, except that the wick in my candle is very decidedly off-center, causing the candle to tunnel and create a much smaller pool of melted wax. If not for the tunneling, it'd probably be a 4/5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Smoked Walnut and Maple scent I was given this candle as a gift. It is the best smelling candle that I have had in a long time. Most of the commercial candles have a certain scent that I find repulsive. Since mine has finally burned out, I decided to purchase a couple more on line. Then I discovered there is a local store here in Omaha. That is great news!!

However once it burned about a third of the way down it got continually smothered by the wax and failed to stay lit. I was extremely disappointed as this was the first time I took the risk and spent my money on what I always believed were over priced candles.
