Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Scent but Dishonest Marketing While I have no issue with the fragrance itself—which is truly exceptional—I do take issue with the marketing behind it. This scent beautifully captures the essence of petrichor, evoking the aroma of rain falling on stone and moss. It's a rare achievement in candle form, and one that few brands execute this well. However, the problem lies in the presentation. This fragrance is essentially identical to "Terra Haze," with only the slightest alteration in the description of the top notes—“mist” versus “misty.” Releasing this as part of a “new” collection feels misleading, as it is not a new scent but rather a repackaging of an existing fragrance that remains available both in stores and online. In summary, while the fragrance itself is outstanding—evocative of ozone, rain, mist, and earth—the marketing approach is disappointing. If you're looking for a larger size (which this collection doesn’t offer), you're better off purchasing Terra Haze, as it delivers the exact same experience without the marketing deception.

The aldehyde and mineral notes really stood out, it’s a fantastic to all senses. I could close my eyes and feel like I was standing on rocks by the ocean. And the jar itself is gorgeous, I buy mainly Yankee but I think I will deviate to Woodwick. I appreciate some more complex scents.

It gently filled my space with a rich, elegant aroma that lingered without ever becoming overpowering. From the crackling wooden wick to the perfectly layered fragrance—misty aldehydes, soft florals, warm amber, and cedarwood—it felt like a spa day in candle form. Long-lasting, beautifully balanced, and totally worth it. I’ll definitely be purchasing more Woodwick candles!
