Campfire at home
The golden bourbon scent is very nice, like a warm boozy cinnamon bun. The crackle of the wood wick is very soothing. The hourglass shape didn't travel so well, it arrived broken but was still able to enjoy this candle. I'll probably use the wax in a warmer. I 100 percent recommended this scent and candle, it's so unique.

The Crackling Sound Is Part Of The Ambience
An important factor to keep in mind for reviewing this product is that it is a woodwick specifically; because of this, the crackling sound is a part of the experience of the product, so if you don't want your candle to have a crackling fireplace-esque ambience, this isn't the right product for you. I love the sound personally, and my husband loves the scent I chose to test out. It's starting to tunnel a little, and I've used it about 5 times or less for almost the maximum burn time recommended and there's about 2/3 of the candle left that hasn't tunneled up around the edges. Overall, it is a decent product, great for gifting for the fall and winter holidays or when you just want a cozy feel for self care.

The Golden Bourbon candle is warm, cozy, and smells amazing. As soon as you light it, the wooden wick starts to gently crackle, adding a relaxing sound that feels like a tiny fireplace.
The scent is a mix of sweet honey whiskey, light saffron, and a little bit of peppercorn. As it burns, you also notice a smoky wood smell that makes the whole room feel calm and inviting.
The wax is super creamy and melts smoothly, giving off a steady scent without being too strong. It’s a great candle for relaxing at home or setting a cozy mood.

This is a solid, grown-up scent. Warm, a little smoky, and not too sweet. The crackling wick is a nice touch, kind of subtle but adds to the vibe. Fills the room well without being too strong. Burns evenly if you keep the wick trimmed. Overall, it’s a good candle. Worth picking up if you like richer, more mellow scents.

Beautiful bourbon colored wax in a glass container with wood lid to compliment any decor. Has a pleasant scent though not as strong as I would like, still smells good nonetheless and crackles as it burns which is cute as can be.

Okay no smell
This candle is absolutely amazing. I just don’t like the fact that it doesn’t really have a strong smell. It does crackle and it is very nice relaxing sound but again it has no smell. I wish I had a better smell, but overall it’s great. I give it a three out of 10.

The candle came in very secure packaging. I love this smell. I’ve bought candles soft over 8 years so I know my candles very well. This is a great smelling, strong, effective candle. I didn’t get a photo of it lit but it works very well. The smell isn’t too prominent where it makes you sick. It’s just enough to make the house smell amazing! You also don’t need to let it burn too long because once you blow it out the smell still lingers around. Absolutely love this scent & this candle company. I will be buying more in different scents!

The Golden Bourbon Medium Hourglass candle from WoodWick is beautifully made and looks lovely wherever you place it in your home.
The crackling wick is cute and a fun touch. The candle burns consistently and evenly. Out of the box I liked the scent but after burning it for a bit there was something about it that I didn’t quite care for-possibly the clove.
It’s still a lovely candle and worth trying to see if you like it.

Best candles ever
Woodwick candles are my all time favorite! When lit, the candle crackles like it a fireplace. It’s extremely relaxing. This scent is also great. It’s not too masculine, and smells cozy. They are a bit expensive, but they’re totally worth it in my opinion.

Overall great candle! It looks really cute, great size as it’s not too big and bulky. The sound is absolutely beautiful I love the wood wick sound it’s just like a fireplace. It’s also pretty loud too so you can actually hear it from across the room. The smell is good as well, it’s not super strong though which isn’t always a bad thing. It does seem good though, it’s a very warm woodsy type of smell. Overall I really enjoy the candle I personally just wish it was a bit stronger.

I’m in love with this candle!! The smell is literal heaven. I’m normally a 3-wick candle girl but the 1 wooden wick is amazing and burns so evenly! I think this is worth the hype and would go in store just to find this candle and scent. I can’t wait to try other scents from this brand.

Smells incredible
This wood wick candle burns with a crackle fireplace sound. The fragrance smells incredible kind of like a humidor. It's long lasting and fills our home with a cozy fireside atmosphere minus the fireplace. I've bought several and hope they create more scents. They're just great!
