The design of the jar and lid is nice and decorative. I found that even though it claims that the candle crackles as it burns, which it does, however, it doesn’t produce soot that gets on the counter. I also have to say that I’m satisfied with the ingredients used to make this candle and are pretty harmless and non toxic around my family.

It does list that it has a new wick and it gives a soothing crackle, but I would disagree. It makes me feel like a firecracker about to explode in my house or the candle itself is about to explode. It’s not as smooth of a crackle as you would expect and the flame does bounce around so it makes me terrified to put this anywhere where it may potentially catch anything on fire. I do like the sound of wood wicks when they burn because it gives a nice fireplace noise however, this is not it at all.

I received this Woodwick Gilded Sands Candle for free from Influenster and Woodwick for testing purposes in exchange for my honest review. This candle is the perfect size, and has a very nice earthy scent. You can really pin point out the notes of Bergamont, Vetiver, and Amber. I love that this candle is made with their PlusWick Innovation for a soothing crackle sound, fast fragrance smell, and a better burn from the plus shaped wick. Overall, I’m very impressed with the fragrance of this candle and I love that it actually crackles while it burns to give a relaxing home aesthetic.

The glass jar is amazing I’m surprised it wasn’t broke in shipping so it’s strong glass. The wick is the favorite part it is different and doesn’t have the black flavor break off like regular wicks and burns way better and doesn’t have the burnt smell when you put it out like regular wick.

The scent of desert air notes blend with the scents of fig and guaiacwood is so soothing after a long work day! It’s relaxing. I like the soothing crackle especially when the house is quiet. Great for meditation rooms. I use it as directed and I am so happy to use this. The hourglass design is modern and looks great. Very good quality and I am so impressed by the scent and design.

It has a plus wick patented “crackle as it burns” wick in it. Interesting it’s in the shape of an X or a t. The hourglass shape is beautiful on display as it burns. Yankee candle makes the best candles so this woodwick yankee candle is no exception. This is gilded sands. The lid is a wooden lid as well and it has a rubber stopper in the lid for a secure and nice fit on the candle when not in use. It’s a great buy. Just sad mine came broken. Yankee candles have the best throw and strong power! Def recommend.

It gives of a lot of the fragrance, and it even crackles, like a fire, which I thought might be annoying but also still pretty cool lol. I'd really like to check out some of these candles with scents that I actually like, but I think I'll still enjoy this! 🥰
