Lovely
This is such a beautiful candle. I have never used a wood wick before now but this is a nice change. The jar and lid are also very classy looking and love the way it looks in my home.

Surprised to say but this candle does not give off a strong smell. It’s very light and while I really like it, it doesn’t have a good burning effect.

Fell a little short in my book
First off, I absolutely LOVE candles with wooden wicks! But I’m not sure how I feel about this one. This one in particular had a criss-cross wick which made the flame a little more unruly than any other wooden wick candles I’ve used and the wax melted a little quicker than my other candles. Actually, the way the wick burns reminds me of a Sterno burner, if you could paint that picture. The candle doesn’t seem to be made of soy wax so that could be why it’s melting much faster. Also, I wasn’t too fond of the scent. I smelled the burning wood a little more than I did the actual candle scent. That doesn’t bother me too much since I like the smell of burning wood, but it seems like the purpose of a scented candle was defeated. I also noticed that the lid had some minor chipping when it first arrived, so not sure what happened there. On the plus side, the candle arrived with a pre-trimmed wick, which was nice, but I can’t say that I’d recommend this.

I was expecting a stronger scent that would spread the room but instead it’s a very light and discreet scent. It has woodsy notes, a little bit musky and salty, not bad but not my favorite. The wooden wick gave me the impression of burning faster but my guess is will last the same as regular wicks.

Ok this candle is aesthetically pleasing. And my way of describing the scent is manly. It smells like an expensive man. I love it. But it’s not strong. I have to go up close to smell it. Maybe I haven’t let it burn long enough, I don’t know.

First, this candle is super pretty: with a clean and elegant shape and color, it’s really attractive on the counter. It smells light and refreshing, not strong and aggressive. And the sound of light crackling fire in the living room while reading my book is really relaxing. I love this candle!

Elegant and incomparable delightful aroma!
I recently received my Cypress Ore Medium Hourglass candle, and I was so excited to try it out! The packaging was excellent – everything was very well protected and fully recyclable. The candle itself feel very durable, promising a long-lasting addition to my home. Made of premium blend of soy and paraffin wax. The overall look is absolutely stunning, fitting perfectly with my farmhouse style, and it’s versatile enough to enhance any design or interior! The scent is earthy elegant and incomparable, filling the room with a delightful and unique aroma. Plus, I adore the spark of shimmers – they're so beautiful!
P.S.: I will definitely be buying the same candle in a larger size, and I highly recommend getting the larger one right away – you definitely won't regret it!

WoodWick candles are the very essence of what a candle should be. I love to hear the sound of the wood crackling while the flame burns and releases a pleasant aroma. The cypress ore is a new scent to me. I usually buy floral scented candles but I like how different this is. It smells masculine, in a good way. It is woody and earthy. The glass vessel is metallic-looking and very sleek. It should last a long time since it is high-quality wax as well.

I love the “crackle” of the wick!
I’ve used Wood Wick candles in the past and I love the crackling feature of the wick. I was excited to receive this candle and it didn’t disappoint. It lit quickly and had the crackle of the wick immediately. The cypress scent is really lovely - I like the earthy smell without being overpowering.
