Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lit, literally and spiritually — Velvet Plum found its happy place on my mantel Some candles just find their spot the moment you light them, and this WoodWick Velvet Plum did exactly that on my little mantel altar — nestled right next to my Buddha statue and money tree, looking like it was always meant to be there. The flame itself is mesmerizing before you even get to the scent — that gentle wood-wick crackle adds a warm, fireplace-like ambiance that instantly elevated the whole corner of the room. Paired with the fresh roses and greenery around it, it turned a simple mantel into a genuinely calming little vignette. As for the fragrance: it's a rich, velvety plum with just enough depth to feel grown-up rather than sugary. It's not overpowering, but the throw is enough that it filled the space comfortably within the first 20 minutes of burning. Sitting next to the trailing pothos and bamboo, it almost felt like the scent and the greenery were doing the same job — making the space feel alive. Verdict: A beautifully burning candle that earns its keep as a centerpiece, not just a background scent. If you're curating a cozy, plant-filled corner like mine, this one belongs right in the middle of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxurious sweet It came bigger then expected. First thing I noticed is the luxurious look of the candle with the wooden lid and the wood wick. I can smell the sweetness right away, with slight vanilla and different notes of berries with the plum. This scent is perfect for fall vibes. It is also plant based wax which is a plus and custom essential oils.

It’s an ambery plum scent that’s very autumn coded. It’s sweet without being sickly so, and the throw fills my whole living room.

Way faster than cotton wick candles I've used in the past. I also love the soft crackling sound the wick makes.....so relaxing! The hourglass shape adds style to my living room. I would definitely purchase more of these candles!

I love that not only does it smell great, it also is safe for animals. It's an all natural plant and soy based candle with a wood wick. My favorite thing to do at night to relax is listen to the crackle the wick makes. Reminds me of a campfire. So far I have burned this candle for 6 days 8 or more hours a day and it's just now half way. Definitely recommend these animal friendly candles!!!!!!
