Both candles have ZERO fragrance. No fragrance cold and none while burning. All I can smell is the burning wick. The scent is warm and earthy with just enough creaminess to soften the patchouli—it’s like a comforting blanket for your senses. I wasn’t sure I’d love a patchouli candle, but this one changed my mind. It’s balanced, not too strong, and definitely not that overpowering, headshop-style scent some patchouli products have. The crackling wick is my favorite part. It adds such a relaxing, fireside feel. It burns clean and slow, and the scent actually fills the room (without being too much). If you’re into calming, grounded scents with a little bit of luxury, this one’s worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice candle My candle was delivered upside down in the heat so I did melt a little before I could use it, however thankfully it didn’t seem to hurt its ability to melt evenly, it burns super smooth and at first I could only smell the wooden wick but eventually the wax’s smell also started filling the room. The wooden wick makes a sort of crackling noise, almost like a really tiny fireplace, and the scent isn’t my favorite but despite that it’s still a very pleasant experience, it’s not overwhelmingly strong but fills a room completely. I’m also a big fan of the size and shape of the glass jar, it’s definitely gonna last several weeks.

I have a 960sq foot home and I can smell this candle all over the house. It’s not an overpowering smell or headachy but leaves a nice scent. I burned for 6 hours last night and still have slightly more than half a candle left. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these.
