Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Scent. Okay Throw. The scent is amazing - warm citrus and vanilla with a bit of spice is the best I can describe it. I love the flickered burn and how it melts evenly. The candle has lasted for a long time with many burns! The throw was not as strong as I would have hoped. If it was stronger, I would repurchase again and again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't call this "ginger", but it's a nice scent This is a nice-smelling candle that has a nice gentle scent, but I find that I'm disappointed in the lack of ginger smell to it. I smell the sweet bergamot-vanilla, but the title of "ginger" as well as ginger being in the top notes had me expecting this to smell more like cutting into a ginger root. Where I was expecting a nice almost sweet-spice scent, this one is very gentle almost like candy.

This is a very sophisticated take on golden-toasted marshmallow and orange blossom, with a warm autumn aura of ginger, creamy citrus and sandalwood. If you crave something sweet and cozy but want it "high end style", this might be it! In some ways it reminds me of the fragrance "Love, Don't Be Shy" due to the same central theme of marshmallow, layers of citrus and roses. On cold, the beauty is hidden in the wax and the aroma stays very quiet. After passing it by many times, I finally decided to give it a try because I know how Woodwick really shines when burned. Once I got it fully pooled, the fragrance bloomed into something so exquisite and soothingly sweet that I find it impossible to resist! I can see this being a fall and winter staple because it's so versatile and comforting. Burn quality is excellent as usual with Woodwicks, and five hours of steady burning with a soft cracke has barely used any wax. Throw is 6/7 out of 10 in my living room (10 is unpleasantly powerful) and I can pick up the fragrance in all my adjoining rooms and up the stairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good smelling and long lasting This woodwick candle can burn for hours and fill our house with a lovely scent. The flicker of the wick makes a calming and peaceful background noise. The wax is high quality and it looks elegant in our home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is of high quality. The hourglass shaped container, logo and print were elegant. Good quality raw materials were used and not skimped. In my opinion the fragrance was more on the sweeter and floral note- the ones that were powerful and recognizable to me were the vanilla and marshmallow scent. The ginger scent was fainter. The first time I lighted the candle felt like it gave our home a homey smell and energy. When I used it near the kitchen, it helps freshen the room and took away some unwanted odor in the kitchen after cooking. The crackling wood wick was a nice experience. I think lighting this candle on the dinner table or near the Christmas tree in winter or during special occasions such as thanks giving, Christmas or New Year would maximize its multi-sensorial experience. The burn seems like it doesn't burn off as fast as other candles. This means that it will last longer. Price wise it's on the higher end maybe because of the quality of every detail of this product but I can also see sales going on so we can grab it at a discounted price. Great gift for someone who loves scented candles and wants their home to smell fresher and feel homey.
