I don't like that sweet, fruity berry smell that ruins so many scents like Fall Festival from BHG. This, Phantom Cherry? Nothing like that or like Humidor and not as heavily scented at all! Very different. I like it and it's color. Bit really, all Woodwick scents are like this. If you want a more complex jug lighter scent?. Something classier not so much in your face, candy ish and/or pop culture or fad type scents? Then buy Woodwick not Yankee or Goose Creek.

Even though I would consider this an autumn/winter scent it was quite nice in the heat of summer. The fresh cherry/rhubarb scent is not too heavy or sugary sweet and the warmth of the vanilla is perfect for staying cozy indoors. The candle burns evenly and there was no odd pooling of the wax. The eclipse version gives a nice throw and I could catch whiffs of it in the next room.

It does have cherry notes but they are deep and sophisticated and not “in your face” like a candy cherry smell. The crackling technology is next level. The sound is a perfect white noise and as relaxing as sitting next to a soft water fall- I really have enjoyed this part! I do not notice any soot production. The candle seems to be long lasting with its burn. I’ve used it many times and still have quite a bit of candle left. This is my new go-to for myself but also for gifts! You will thank me!
