Tranquility at its finest
I was a Woodwick customer before Yankee. The crackling of the wooden wick, the full aroma scent from the burn, and the fact that the candle burns ALL THE WAY DOWN (no wasted wax) are the key features for me. I am currently pairing Fireside Elipse with Yankee's Crisp Fall Night (HEAVEN). Then at my office I have Pumpkin Butter and Cinnamon Chai pairing together! The crackling wick and the aroma of the pairs keeps my sanity level at work serene.

Just like camping!

Holiday Feels
I bought this last season for Christmas time as it's a warm smelling and winter time feeling scent. (I'm sure you could also use it fine in the summer months, too, as we tend to do outside bonfires during that time of year, but for me, I really only burn candles during the cold months (9 months out of the 12 where I live - gah!), so I was a huge fan of this during Christmas- New Year's time last year!

My favorite scent and popping wick! So relaxing
Sure this is going to be an oxymoron review but it's honest, how I feel, in MY opinion. This is probably my most favorite scent!! (Florals make my migraines flare) When I was first introduced to the snap/crackle of Woodwick when lit I was hooked! Who doesn't love the sound of a wood fire? The info for size/burn time can be misleading tho. This design doesn't burn very long yet the price refers that it does. You're paying for the visual. Just keep that in mind ..

Buying two next time.
We have a working fireplace, but stopped using it because of the mess. I missed the smell and the ambiance, so I bought this candle and placed it on the hearth in the hope of recreating both. Instantly, the room was cozy. The smell was fragrant, rich, and woodsy. The long wick created a beautiful look.
The only problem is that we burned it so often, it was gone all too soon. Going to buy two next time so I have a back-up ready.

Wick burns lovely
One of my favorite scents by far! Warm, cozy feeling of being in a cabin and sitting by a fire. I love the smell of nature/being outdoors and this candle makes me feel like I'm in the middle of the woods! Also, the long wick makes it burn longer and you can really smell the scent of this candle! Will buy again!

Cozy & warm
Living in the south, I don’t get many opportunities to light the fire place, so I burn Fireside. The soft crackle and fragrance makes the room cozy and warm. There are times I burn Evergreen at the same time which complements Fireside nicely. Love Yankee Candles!

I have not tried the Wood Smoke candle but I love Fireside. It smells just like a wood burning fireplace at home. I often burn it in the evenings (dont't have a real fireplace, sigh) when it's chilly outside. Guests coming into the house ask &quot;where is your fireplace&quot;? Hope this helps a little.

Not at all. I find the the ellipse candle burns for a good amount of time. I would venture to say 80 - 100 hours, maybe more.
