Exploded!
This was a gift which we finally decided to light tonight. It burned for a short while then suddenly burst into large flames, cracking the glass. A damp towel was needed to extinguish it.
I don’t know if this was a fault, but would be wary of purchasing another.

Wood Wick candles are my favorite...Love the way the wick burns listening to it reminds me of an open fire or fireplace. It cozies up the atmosphere. Fireside has a nice stronger than some smell which I like. I like my candles to smell up the whole room.

I bought 2 of these candles as gifts. They smell great but was disappointed that the lids on BOTH candles had a scratch going through the wood and logo. The scratch was in the exact same place on both lids which leads me to believe this happened in production and then missed by quality control. I would expect this kind of thing if I bought from a third party vendor, but to receive it directly from Yankee Candle is just disappointing especially because these will be gifts.

Faux Fireplace, No Wood Chopping Required
Love this Fireside wood wick candle. I don’t have a fireplace and have always wanted one. This is a good faux substitute with the scent and the crackling. I hope it lasts at least until Thanksgiving and then I will get another for Christmas.

I absolutely love the Fireside Woodwick. The fragrance is strong enough for a decent sized room such as a living room. The wood wick adds a relaxing touch with a subtle sound. It is safe to say I will be needing a lot more of these. These are a great gift idea as well that anyone would love!

Bringing Nature to You
How can you beat the crackling of a flame and the wafting scent of burning logs? You don't have to resort to your gas fireplace or worse yet go to the trouble of actually starting a fire. Even starting one in a firepit is troublesome. But not with a woodwick candle. You can be one with nature as you light and enjoy this candle. A glass of wine, a good book and a Fireside Woodwick..ahhh. Life is Good.

I have not tried the Wood Smoke candle but I love Fireside. It smells just like a wood burning fireplace at home. I often burn it in the evenings (dont't have a real fireplace, sigh) when it's chilly outside. Guests coming into the house ask &quot;where is your fireplace&quot;? Hope this helps a little.

Not at all. I find the the ellipse candle burns for a good amount of time. I would venture to say 80 - 100 hours, maybe more.

Even Burning
