Great fall/winter scent!
I bought my first Fireside candle a couple of weeks ago and I have used it non-stop! It makes my home smell like HOME. It says "the holidays are coming," but it's also such a great fall scent. The crackling is relaxing and the scent is the perfect balance between sweet and musky - very easy on the nose! I just ordered two more!

One of my favorites!
I have been burning this candle for as long as I can remember. My first love of woodwick was the Woodland fragrance (now retired, maybe one day they will bring it back), but the fireside is a close second. It is such a beautiful fragrance that makes your house feel warm and inviting. I love the size and weight of these candles. They are heavy, thick glass and look very elegant. The throw they give is also amazing. The throw on these is better than the regular large candles (more pooled wax when burning), but they don’t last as long. They are pretty expensive, so I stock up when they run sales. Please don’t ever discontinue this fragrance. It will break a lot of hearts.

Amazing smell!
I haven't bought a candle yet just because I am living on that broke college budget. I did however see how awesome the candle was at my aunt's house last week. I love how it crackles and it is perfect for this scent, which by the way smells absolutely amazing! Reminds me of all those summer nights sitting by the fire.

Amazing smell and beautiful design!
I buy this candle around the fall and winter every year to make the house smell more cozy. It makes me feel like I have a real wood fireplace with the crackling noises and wholesome smoky smell. It burns so beautifully too since it has a good amount of soy in it. The muted gray color goes with anything so i dont feel like it clashes with my decor. I just wish it lasted longer!

This is my favorite candle. It's subtle, yet fragrant, and even better, it crackles! It's not overpowering like some of the Balsam & Cedar holiday candles can be. It is perfect and cozy for a cold winter night. I plan to stock up on these if I ever see a sale!

Love this for fall!

WoodWick is my absolute favorite at YC! The scents are not overpowering but are subtle, yet full and distinctive. The layered ones are a great way to enjoy several scents as the candles burn down. Like the Real Thing
After moving to a condo from our house I missed the fireplace terribly.
While shopping at a local YANKEE CANDLE store, I saw the Fireside WoodWick and I wondered how much it would give me the fireplace feel. I am very pleased to sat that if I closed my eyes while burning this candle I would be transported to the hearth of a magnificent fire! I love the shape of the elipse shape and the thick glass. After I burned down the candle I repurposed the glass candle bowl into candy dish!
I can not give enough love to this WoodWick/YANKEE CANDLE product!

Absolute perfection!
I am so thrilled with this candle! I work midnights in an extremely stressful job, so having something that helps me relax is a must - and this candle is a must! The scent is just like the fires my grandparents used to have in their fireplaces and the soft crackling of the wood wick just brings it all home. It reminds me of those wonderful childhood memories of family and everyone gathered in the living room. It's also absolutely perfect for those snow storms we know we're going to get. This is the next best thing to having a fireplace for those cold, snowy evenings when you can hear the wind outside - just snuggle into a warm blanket and light this candle. Winter nights don't get much better.

love the wick!
I love the zip wick...it burns so beautifully. burns even, never pops. Fireside is a great scents. Warm and cozy. I also love the glass containers WoodWicks are done in..when finished we filled this one with succulents. I have a large hourglass I use as a vase. No waste with WoodWicks.

I have not tried the Wood Smoke candle but I love Fireside. It smells just like a wood burning fireplace at home. I often burn it in the evenings (dont't have a real fireplace, sigh) when it's chilly outside. Guests coming into the house ask &quot;where is your fireplace&quot;? Hope this helps a little.

Not at all. I find the the ellipse candle burns for a good amount of time. I would venture to say 80 - 100 hours, maybe more.
