If you are someone who loves all things antiques, this candle is for you! Unfortunately I am not, thus to me it smells exactly like the bottom of an old used purse - one that had change, lipstick and somehow a hint of peppermint. The candle is quite beautiful, the color is as shown on the website and as with all woodwick candles it burns with the unique flame and crackle as a real woodburning fireplace. Thankfully yankee candle allows returns if not happy with the scent. I'll be returning this for the tempest flavor or our all time favorite woodwick candle - fireside ❤️

The shape of the the container is beautiful to just have on a coffee table. You only have to have it lit for a few minutes to really get the overall smell of it. The sound of the burning wood is also so relaxing!

The scent is noticeable pretty quickly! Luckily it isn’t over bearing at all! The wick burns slowly if you start from one end. However, I did light mine on both ends to get a quick start! It’s not a traditional wick! There is a beautiful sound that comes from the candle as well! Just like a fireplace! It’s soothing.

While the fragrance, Antiquarium Ellipse, is not my first choice, it's still a nice scent that my grandma will like. The scent is minty with a hint of incense. The candle burns a little too fast, but the relaxing sound makes up for it. The candle arrived in perfect condition. The candle's design is truly unique. Very clean and polished look. So far, this candle has shown no signs of black soot.

The scent is on the masculine side, with notes of tobacco, amber, cardamom, and wood. The most unique feature of this candle is the long wick, which dances and crackles like a fireplace when lit. It also has a solid wood lid that fits snuggly to ensure the scent remains in the candle when not lit. It's a beautiful evergreen color that looks luxurious. It's an impressive 16 ounces that should have a long burn time. This candle is very reasonably priced and far superior to designer candles that cost much more. I highly recommend WoodWick candles, and I will definitely purchase again.

Burn time feels like it will be a while but remains to be seen. Spot production seems minimal thus far but I think all candles have some degree of that. We only burn for a short time and try to keep some airflow accessible when possible. Fragrance as advertised. The fire crackling sound is a nice touch.
