It's a mid candle, but pleasant
I'm not sure it smells anything like tomato leaf or basil, but it has a light, pleasant scent that I suppose has an undertone that's a bit earthy. The new woodwick model seems to burn pretty evenly. I'll enjoy this one but probably not buy a second time.

Burns too fast
Burns very fast, Votivo Green Tomato is a much better value and fresher garden-style fragrance.
I'm not a regular candle person, I discovered this fragrance in France, true tomato greenery like a very good tomato flavor is elusive.
The photo is after less than 8 hours of total burn time.

I thought for sure this candle was going to smell awful but it really doesn't. It has a nice fresh scent that is really enjoyable. I like the wood wick. It has a shorter flame but burns very nice. When you blow it out, it goes all the way out instantly.

Sweet smell
My tomato leaf and basil scented WoodWick candle is one of my favorite things. The scent is fresh and homey without being too strong. It’s a light and delicate fragrance that has everyone who walks through my kitchen asking what the great smell is. The wood wick burns As well as, if not better than a traditional wick, it also looks really cool. The jar is the best because I can reuse them as succulent planters when I’m finished with the candle. The cork top is also a bonus for me because it helps put out the candle completely so you don’t ruin it by smoldering your wick. Love the scent because it’s not the same base scent that everything has these days.

I love candles so I'm always looking for unique scents. This tomato leaf and basil candle smells decently. It's definitely not a favorite of mine but it's nice. The basil is really what stands out to me. This candle doesn't fill my house with the candle scent like other candles do. My husband enjoys this candle much more than I do. I light it when I want a subtle change. Overall, it's a decent candle.

This candle is a dream! It smells literally exactly like a tomato basil summer salad without overpowering at all. It is absolutely perfect for a summer gathering. I was not quite sure what to expect from a "Tomato Leaf & Basil" scented candle, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a nice, fresh scent that feels perfect for summer. It has a very light scent, that does not overpower a room. I love that it is made from recycled materials, and the glass, amber jar and wood cork are very classy looking.

Interesting scent, but..
This is a really interesting scent, and I do get the vibe of a tomato leaf. Like if you do a cold sniff of this, it's completely the same scent as if you go up to a tomato plant and smell it. The problem? When it's lit, the smell kind of..turns flowery. It's still a nice scent, but it kind of loses the tomato/basil essence. Great burn on it though, no soot really and it's classic WoodWick quality.

The Woodwick Candle in the scent Tomato Leaf and Basil is a great smelling candle. The wood wick creates a nice ambience with soft lighting and the sound of crackling burning wood. The scent is pleasant and not too strong.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this scent as it’s different than the usual but I was pleasantly impressed. It reminds me of a warm summer day picking fresh tomatoes from the garden. You can definitely make out the scents in this candle and it smells very realistic. It smells great while burning and the scent is long lasting. I also really like the look of this candle. The brown amber recycled glass looks very cozy in my home and I love the cork top and wooden wick made from trees. Another thing I really like about this candle is that it is made using bio based ingredients, recycled materials, and essential oils.
