It smells like the best vanilla I can imagine and brought me back to my early Christmases as a child. It reminds me of the beach at dawn and dusk but at the same time, I can see my mom baking every delicious cookie, etc. at Christmas.

I suspect that the lit scent doesn't carry as much because it is such a small candle --I mostly get the smoky scent typical of Woodwick candles. Lovely crackle, though.

It burns evenly, has a fantastic long burn time, the fragrance is great, and I love the crackle it gives off as it burn. I purchased the small candle, and it had lasted much longer than expected.
