Best scent ---- ever!
While there are several scents to choose from.... why bother? this by far is the best. Always receive compliments when this is lit. I have repeatedly purchased this candle and have been satisfied each time. Smell no further..... this is "the one!" :)

Great Scent with Woodwick Candles
I love the Woodwick Fireside crackling Candles! They smell sooo Good! I just wish they weren't so EXPENSIVE! Also I have a hard time finding the Ribbonwick Candles in this Scent! The straight Wicks are plentiful but I prefer the squiggly ribbon Wicks! Those crackle more and you can hear the crackle better than the straight Wicks!

Like a campfire in your home
Such a rich and Smokey scent. It has the feeling of sitting by a cozy fire and relaxing with a mug of tea or coffee. This is definitely not for you if you do not enjoy the scent of campfires and smoke. Definitely more on the masculine side, in my opinion.

Great Scent, Amazing Flame, Burns Too Fast!
The Wood Wick candles are all worth the investment because they are made high quality. The crackle is definitely like being next to a fireplace and the throw of the fragrance is wide range. I would recommend this candle for events or to entertain because it definitely has a WOW factor with the way the flame burns. Because of the way the flame burns, the candle wax doesn't last as long on the Ellipse Wood Wick. If you are like me and burn the candle for a long period of time without blowing the flame out, and you're buying it for longevity, I would recommend the Pillar style Wood Wick instead of the Ellipse Wood Wick candles because they will burn for days and will last for the value of the price paid.

I ordered 2 discounted Hearthside Trilogy candles end of Jan. Two days before anticipated delivery, I got an email saying they were out--no solution or substitution! My disappointment prompted me to email YC, and Alyssa helped me out greatly! She was kind, polite and offered a substitution AT THE SAME PRICE. I was thrilled! Amazing buy worth the price tag!
I received the candle about a week ago. The fragrance is strong but subtle and not overpowering. The candle fragrance lingers throughout my entire home. It burns evenly and the crackling sound of the frame is an added bonus (probably my favorite part). I have since purchased 2 more Ellipse candles as I feel the need to have one on each floor. Also, I anticipate getting home to light the candle which I find hilarious.

Exploded!
This was a gift which we finally decided to light tonight. It burned for a short while then suddenly burst into large flames, cracking the glass. A damp towel was needed to extinguish it.
I don’t know if this was a fault, but would be wary of purchasing another.

I have not tried the Wood Smoke candle but I love Fireside. It smells just like a wood burning fireplace at home. I often burn it in the evenings (dont't have a real fireplace, sigh) when it's chilly outside. Guests coming into the house ask &quot;where is your fireplace&quot;? Hope this helps a little.

Not at all. I find the the ellipse candle burns for a good amount of time. I would venture to say 80 - 100 hours, maybe more.
